Club Meetings
All attendees (members and guests) must be fully vaccinated (received all recommended doses in Covid-19 vaccine primary series and the most recent booster dose recommended by CDC).
Monthly club meetings are typically held at 6:00 pm the fourth Thursday at Seaman’s Lodge in Pioneer Park, 427 Nimrod Street, Nevada City. Offsite events include the May annual picnic and our August Rescue Clinic.
These gatherings are social, recreational, and informational in nature. Presentations offer information associated with the sport of paddling through speakers, videos, and slideshows. The meeting often includes a potluck dinner. Details will be emailed to our members and can also be found in our newsletter.
If you are not a member and wish to check us out, you are invited to join us. Contact Susan Rossman, Membership Chair at srossman21025@icloud.com.

Past Meetings and Events
Thursday, February 23: Extreme Kayaking for the Fearless: CANCELLED… TO BE RESCHEDULED
In February, when most SNCKC members are curled up by the fireplace, we can ratchet up our adrenaline for a brief while as we watch what the fearless (or otherwise?) kayakers do on Class 6 rapids and waterfalls to entertain themselves and prove their testosterone levels. It will be fun and exciting to watch a few brief videos. Then we can go back to looking forward to our safe, flat, and beautiful lake and river trips coming up. Social and Potluck Dinner 6:00-6:30 followed at 7:00 by a brief business meeting and the program
